About Hemavani

Hi, I'm Hemavani — an English educator with a Master of Arts in English Literature from PSGR Krishnammal College for Women and currently pursuing my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) at KSR College of Education, specializing in English teaching.

My passion for English goes beyond grammar and textbooks. I genuinely love the language — its literature, its nuances, and its power to help people express themselves clearly and confidently. That love is what I bring into every class.

I have hands-on experience developing structured educational content and LSRW-based learning materials, which has sharpened my ability to explain complex concepts in simple, engaging ways. I believe every student learns differently, and my role as a teacher is to find the approach that works best for each individual. My classes are designed to be interactive, structured, and genuinely engaging — not just textbook reading.

My teaching is rooted in the LSRW framework — Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing — ensuring students develop well-rounded English language skills rather than just exam-focused knowledge. Each class begins with a warm-up activity to build confidence, followed by the core lesson, practice exercises, and a quick review to reinforce what was learned.

I focus heavily on making concepts simple and relatable. Whether it's grammar, comprehension, essay writing, or literature analysis — I use real-life examples, storytelling, and analogies to make abstract concepts stick. I adapt my explanations based on how the student responds, never moving forward until they truly understand.

My classes are intended for school students from Grade 6 to Grade 12, covering CBSE, State Board, and international curricula. I also work with students preparing for competitive English exams and those who want to improve their overall communication and writing skills.
Online classes are conducted through Google Meet or Zoom with shared materials, notes, and assignments provided after every session.
