About Charlotte
I am an aspiring English teacher, hoping to attain my Qualified Teaching Status very soon! I believe that whilst professionalism is needed in teaching, so is trust and an open mind. A stricter education system doesn't suit everyone, I understand this as I struggled through the education system as a neurodivergent person, so I believe in helping to bridge the gaps.
I adore working with young people, and soend much of my time volunteering with girlguiding as a leader for bothe Rainbows and Rangers!

I believe in using creativity to access the academic. In my hour lessons, I will help students as young as 11 access their work in a way that suits their needs.
I have experience assisting SEND young people both in academic settings and outside of them, in particular those who are Neurodivergent.
My lessons include many things; annotation work, comprehension, critical reading skills, creative writing, homework assistance, to name a few. I am always open to suggestions of what an individual needs to learn. But shove all else, I want to take the time to get to know my students!!
