Hi, my name is Rebecca. I am a former IB student, and obtained my undergraduate degree in New York University (Honours), and my Master's in Comparative Literature at King's College London. I have been teaching privately and and at schools for the past 2 years, offering support in KS3,4,5 students and GCSE and A-Level students in English language and literature. I have also taught IB students privately, in both English and History.
- My teaching is very student focused. I want to refine your own opinions and help you become a more independent learner. I will teach you:
-how to interpret texts (In English it can be confusing since there are so many ways to read a text!)
- how to write a proper thesis statement
- How to organise your thoughts into precise paragraphs
- How to analyse poems, plays, and novels like a pro
We will work together on refining your strengths, and improving your weaknesses as well, so you can do well in your exams and become a confident learner in general.
