About Jean Pierre
12 years experience providing English classes for Brazilians, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Dutch and Italians in England and South Africa. 10 years experience giving Portuguese classes for foreigners of various nationalities. With more than 200 students along all these years, 96% of them reached the advanced level in less than 6 months and 79% of these achieved the advanced level in the first three months. My classes have helped students to communicate in a day-to-day situation as well as in the technical use of words in specialized areas.

My classes are based on a simple methodology based on the 14 years I lived in the UK, United States and South Africa, and in giving English lessons to people who really needed a fast and efficient method. Even though I'm currently living in Brazil, English is the language spoken at home on a daily basis. My teaching method is to mold teaching according to the needs of the student. Technical terms for business, travel and study abroad, and different accents according to the country of destination (United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Ireland, South Africa and others) are part of the lessons, be it for executives, students and/or travelers . Expressions and terms used on the streets, at work, at home, at school, all are included in this methodology. The goal is to reach an advanced level of English in the first 2 months of classes*
* The goal of reaching the advanced level in two months depends on the frequency of weekly classes. Minimum 3 lessons per week are recommended to achieve the advanced level.
