About Erika
I teach English with a structured and goal-oriented approach. My lessons are not improvised conversations, but carefully planned sessions designed around the student’s level, difficulties and objectives.
Over the past three years, I have helped students strengthen their grammar, improve their writing, expand their vocabulary and become more confident in speaking English. I also prepare students for Cambridge English exams, especially KET, PET, FCE and CAE. Having personally sat both FCE and CAE and passed them with Grade A, including 208/210 in CAE, I can guide students through the exam format, timing, assessment criteria and preparation strategies with first-hand experience.
Each lesson is adapted to the student’s needs. I identify recurring mistakes, track progress and use targeted revision to help students build solid, long-term competence rather than simply memorising rules for a test.

CAMBRIDGE EXAM PREPARATION (KET, PET, FCE, CAE)
- I have first-hand experience with Cambridge exams, having passed both B2 First (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE) with Pass at Grade A — including 208/210 in CAE. My preparation therefore focuses on both language competence and exam strategy.
For Cambridge exam-focused students, I provide:
- Paper-by-paper targeted training
- Strategy and time-management techniques
- Realistic mock exams
- Detailed correction and error-analysis sessions
- Practical tools to avoid repeated mistakes
- Preparation is strategic, not generic.
MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT
- Thanks to my knowledge of Spanish, Chinese, and Italian, I can offer additional support to learners who speak these languages, helping clarify complex grammar points and avoid typical interference errors.

Details
The standard rate is £15 per hour.
Targeted preparation for Cambridge English exams at B2 and C1 level — especially B2 First (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE) — and advanced C2-oriented work is charged at £20 per hour.
This includes exam paper practice, writing, speaking, mock tests, recurring error correction, and preparation strategies.
