About Victoria
I learned Latin privately just for fun because, as an English teacher, I wanted to have a better understanding of grammar. Surprisingly, it was that experience that helped me get the job I've held for 33 years. My 8th grade students will tell you I'm funny, dedicated, full of knowledge, and patient. They get to high school as some of the best writers in their class as a result of their work with me. My Latin students have gone on to take 200 college level classes at the nearby university as high school students because of the grounding in fundamentals my Latin instruction provided. I've seen it all with English and Latin students, and I can help you.
