About Lee

For the last 10 years, I have pursued a career in project design. All these roles have been office-based,
and each have been rewarding in their own way. It has allowed me to feed my creativity, and improve
my communication skills. I have obtained experience in delivering projects within certain time frames,
liaising with clients from a variety of cultures and much more. I feel now I have gained all that can be
gained in such a career, and I am ready to pursue my true passion for teaching. More specifically,
teaching English as a foreign language.

This ambition has been an ongoing pursuit alongside my full time job. Language has always fascinated
me, and as such I have travelled to many countries in pursuit of greater knowledge in this area. Recently,
I worked hard to pass a TEFL qualification. In addition to this, I have gained invaluable classroom
experience teaching English as a foreign language, observing lessons, and planning and teaching adult
classes. These classes ranged in age from 18-45, from all different walks of life.
My personality is one very fitting for such a role. I am very friendly, open minded, and am able to get on
with everybody and adapt to each individuals needs. I have a great passion and enthusiasm for the
subject, and have a great desire to help each person realise their goals.

I am hoping that taking on a part time role in teaching, will allow me to hone my teaching skills, and
style, and acquire the necessary experience required for a full time role. I will continue to observe
classes, and be in a classroom environment, in the hope that I can take on a more permanent role in the
near future!

I very much hope I will have the opportunity to teach at your school, and I look forward to hearing from
you at your earliest convenience.

About the lesson

I teach from your level and progress with pronunciation, spelling and using the words in real scenarios. Using a mix of games and tasks, students will take control of the lesson, practicing as the learn on the go. Occasionally I will take out day trips, to practice what they learn in the classroom for themselves learning to understand different people.
