About Amara
I have been teaching English for ten years, inspired by a love of language and communication. I work with learners of all ages, helping them develop fluency, analytical skills, and confidence. Teaching allows me to combine structured instruction with creative and practical engagement, fostering both academic and personal growth. I emphasise patience, clarity, and adaptability, blending grammar, vocabulary, writing, discussion, and literature into interactive and inspiring lessons. Students are encouraged to think independently, communicate effectively, and enjoy the learning process. Outside teaching, I read extensively, attend literary workshops, and pursue professional development. Witnessing students progress from hesitant speakers to confident, articulate communicators is immensely rewarding. Helping learners achieve fluency, analytical insight, and expressive skill is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy.

My English lessons focus on cultivating language proficiency, analytical skills, and expressive confidence. I create a learning environment that integrates grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, alongside literature, discussion, and practical communication exercises. Lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning style, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication. Beginners work on foundational grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and basic reading and writing exercises. Intermediate learners develop essay writing, oral communication, comprehension, and creative expression. Advanced students refine literary analysis, persuasive writing, debate, and research projects. Assignments include essays, reading comprehension tasks, discussions, and creative writing exercises. Lessons are personalised to ensure steady progress and engagement at every level. Students gain fluency, confidence, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills. Many succeed academically, deliver presentations, and produce original writing. English study fosters critical thinking, empathy, and problem-solving abilities applicable to both personal and professional life. My goal is to help learners become articulate, confident thinkers capable of expressing themselves clearly, analysing complex information, and applying language skills creatively and practically.
