About Melissa
My desire to teach and help has always been prevalent in my life, from young childhood to the present day; I admire great teachers and aspire to be one. Throughout my education, I have taken every opportunity I could to better my understanding. From multiple work experience placements, to undergoing the TEFL course (teaching English as a foreign language). My trajectory is set on Speech and Language therapy in the future. Teaching English is the way I can prepare for my career and enhance my students' opportunity for theirs.

+ Focusing on spelling, grammar and speech, as well as accent reduction using intonation, emphasis, rhythm and phonetic pronunciation.
+ I have experience with children who struggle with language and reading difficulties in a primary school, carrying out important learning activities for their development.
+I am currently studying A-levels, including English Language. This enriches my linguistic knowledge and comprehension, allowing me to better teach my students.
+ I'm available to host 30 minute or hour long sessions that are mainly targeted towards children, teenagers and young adults, who have a limited or basic understanding of English.
