About Nolan
I developed a deep interest in English through literature, writing, and linguistic studies. I earned a B.A. in English Language and Literature, which provided extensive knowledge of grammar, syntax, literary analysis, and communication theory. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students of varying ages and skill levels, helping them build linguistic competence, critical thinking, and expressive clarity.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes a student-centered, adaptive approach. Lessons combine grammar instruction with reading, writing, and conversational practice, using interactive exercises and real-world examples. I encourage learners to engage actively, explore creative applications, and develop confidence in both spoken and written English. Structured guidance and continuous feedback ensure consistent progress and skill mastery.
Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with contemporary literature, media, and language research. This enriches my lessons, allowing me to incorporate relevant examples and up-to-date materials. Teaching English is deeply rewarding because I witness learners grow into confident communicators, capable of expressing themselves clearly, persuasively, and creatively in a variety of contexts.
