Hi I am Semih from Turkey. James was a tutor of mine for almost 1 year. I had always loved speaking English but I loved it even more with James. Because not only he amazed me with his fabulous teaching skills but also his intellectual and wise mind. I learned so many things from James regarding English language. I learned some idioms and slangs from him that are even not known by some native speakers. So even some natives have been surprised to see me using some phrases. I became more confident thanks to James. I feel like that I can command the language more than I used to be. Furthermore, I could talk about numerous issues with James such as history, politics, philosophy, sociology, psychology, literature and so on. Especially, his knowledge about the English literature is impressive. He is quite knowledgeble about different eras in English literature. He even has a strong command of old folklore, poems, fables and etc. that are unbeknownst to most native speakers. I am a phd candidate communication scholar and I can say without any doubt that his communication skills are also incredible. He knows how to approach a student and how to improve the communication between you and him. I enjoyed every class that we had together. He has a natural, inherent talent in this aspect. In brief, I can recommend James without any hesitation. I don’t think anyone would be regret to have a class with him.
