About Mat
I am a graduate, coming out of my three year degree in English Language and Creative Writing at the University of Salford with a 2:1. I am taking the current year off before returning to university next year to start my course in teacher training. I have worked with many young children in various schools in my experience days and jobs.

When assisting children I take an approach most suitable for that child and their preferred ways of learning. Children typically prefer one of three approaches, auditory, visual or kinaesthetic. I will quickly establish and adapt my teaching to each student's needs and preference. I do my best to encourage questions and develop confidence in doing so, and have worked previously with children who struggle in social situations, as I was exactly the same when I was young. I will put as much as time as required into providing the best education for my sessions.
