About Juliette
I am an English Education major in Cal State Long Beach, and though I have no teaching experience, I have worked with kids on all levels and helped to provide for them an environment where they are free to ask and receive feedback and critique in a healthy manner. I am confident that my experience working in daycare and in my church could also help those who need a boost of confidence in their work.

I cater my approach to each person because everyone has different ways of learning.
I know that many students hate a tough grader, and if I am truly honest, I can be strict in my critique and feedback. However, I will make sure that it is only for the benefit of my students, and not at the expense of their overall self-esteem. I am always striving to improve on my students, so I focus my teaching style on their proficiency. I have done this with a lot of the kids I have reviewed with on their essays, and I find this to be the best way for them to improve.
Though I am strict on critique, I am genuinely a fairly casual teacher. I think that being a great teacher means that I must also be comfortable with them, and I will try my hardest to make sure that they never have to feel awkward or scared to ask me anything.
