About Heins
Extensive knowledge of phonetics, phonology, grammar, adaptation of teaching materials, literature and learning psychology. In constant investigation of the teaching and learning process. My teaching experience began at Universidad de las Américas as an English assistant professor, and a bilingual literary workshop professor, in these instances I learned about the leadership and development of educational programs with adult students in a context that allowed me to put my skills to the test. methodological. Later, I participated in the Mineduc "English opens doors" program to which I was incorporated into my professional practice, in this instance I developed classes focused on listening comprehension and oral expression in collaboration with an English-speaking volunteer. For a period of time I took Business English classes for Integral B directed by executives of various companies with an emphasis on oral communication and acquisition of technical vocabulary, developing knowledge in areas such as internal communications, public relations and corporate finance. Later I did classes in the second and third cycle at the Cardenal Raúl Silva Henríquez Multipurpose School in the Puente Alto district. Currently I teach English to students from 4th to 8th grade at Highlands Montessori school of Santiago in the Peñalolén commune. Since March 2019 I have been coordinator of the English department of Workshops II, III and IV in the same establishment. During the year 2020 I made a report on the course "Writing applied to work" at Duoc UC. My future goals are to continue developing my career, improving myself in the area of (TEFL) Teaching English as a foreign language, in addition to expanding my knowledge about the development of educational, literary and cultural management projects.

I have experience working with traditional methods and Montessori based on the methodologies: Presentation, practice, production (PPP); Project-based learning (PBL); Task based learning (TBL); Collaborative Learning and Gamification. For example, a presentation, practice, production (PPP) methodology class would consist of: -Presentation: Presentation of a stimulus that captures the students' attention (image, video, object or computer simulation) -Practice: The / The students exercise the content presented based on exercises prepared for that purpose with a degree of independence from the teacher. -Production or creation: students create a work based on the content exercised in the previous stage of the class with a greater degree of independence from the teacher.
