About Gerardo
I am a hotel receptionist/EFL teacher with a BA degree in Foreign Languages, Cultures and Linguistics at the University of Salerno.
I have a two year experience as a freelance translator and teacher.
I have a one year experience studying and working at the Universitat de Barcelona and I have been living and working in Glasgow for 4 years.

I base my teaching procedure on the PPP methodology (Present, Practice, and Production); more specifically, I start off by present the topic of the lesson, trying to elicit as much information from the students, then I present and give feedbacks about the topic; afterwards, I hand over activities in order to help students practise the topic introduced; Lastly, I encourage students to produce, through a speaking activity mostly, texts based on the topic of the practise we have just finished.
