About Eric 김주영
I am a native English speaker currently living in Seoul, South Korea. I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2001. I attended elementary, middle, and high school, all taught in English, from 2008-2020, and now I am enrolled in the PEARL (Programme in Economics for Alliances, Research, and Leadership) Economics program at Keio University in Japan. Of course, the university instructs in English, but I am also learning Japanese. So far, I have received scores on the SAT (Reading and Writing: 740) and the TOEFL (118). Currently, I work as a freelance writer on the American media publication Vox.

My primary students are those who are seeking admission into elite American boarding schools and universities. I am confident that I can help you with the English section on the SAT/SSAT necessary for admission. I am also available to teach you problem-solving techniques on the TOEFL/TOEIC tests. I am most confident in essay writing and vocabulary. I also work with admission-seeking students through essay consultations. I have received very high scores on the SAT II and AP History exams and am very enthusiastic about teaching history in English.
