About Marochelle
I recently returned from Hanoi, Vietnam where I was an English teacher for one year. I taught students from ages 5-14. I worked with classes as big as 40 students per class, smaller groups between 10-20 students and I also taught one on one. I am able to teach English and Afrikaans - I have a passion for languages, reading and writing. As part of my degree, I did a major in English Literature. I have different methods of teaching in order to meet the needs of my students. I am friendly, kind, patient and optimistic. I really enjoy working with children and making a positive impact on their young lives.

I believe that every child / student is different and therefore my teaching method / style has to change frequently in order to meet the needs of the student. My lessons normally start off with a warm up or an ice-breaker to set the mood. I divide the group into teams in order to manage the classroom environment and make it more fun. If I am teaching one on one, the student will compete against me for the lesson. I incorporate educational games and activities as a part of my lesson as it keeps the students attention and interest. I am very focused on reading, writing, spelling, pronunciation and communication. I am very friendly and helpful and have a lot of patience with my students.
