About Maxime
After obtaining my Scientific Baccalaureate in Mathematics with honors, I joined a preparatory class MPSI/MP (Maths Physics) in Bordeaux. At the end of these 2 years, I took the Centrale Supélec entrance exam and then joined the ESTP Paris engineering school. In parallel with my studies, I give private lessons in mathematics / physics to middle and high school students from many Parisian establishments. I lead 2 hour tutorials for groups of 3 or 4 students. The levels being sometimes very different, this activity allowed me to acquire a solid capacity of adaptation.

The primary objective is to build student confidence. The majority of students with difficulties in mathematics lose interest in the subject because they are not presented with all the concrete applications of this vast discipline. This is why my method consists in making the link between theory and practice, in order to restore a taste for mathematics and thus to progress as efficiently as possible. I start first by identifying the student's weaknesses. The mastery of the course is an essential point to be able to pass the exercises. I then adapt the difficulty of the exercises according to the needs of the student.
