About Anjali
I am a second year engineering student studying at the university of Nottingham and have always had a passion for math and science. I discovered my passion for teaching young minds recently as i helped my brother and my cousin through their GCSEs.
As a member of the "girl guides" i had much contact with children studying at this level and below and found that often students fall out of love for these subjects as they find them difficult of confusing, but with one to one or more specific help i truly believe these subjects can be taught to any one.

My teaching method is to teach via example questions and worked through examples. I always found that in math based questions its very difficult to understand typed out solutions, therefore i will always ensure i hand write solutions to problems before explaining each step to the student, this also teaches students the correct form of written calculations (an important skill for exams through out all education).
i also found that even whilst at university, when learning how to solve a new equation or new piece of algebra, the best way is to learn the method whilst doing an example question, a step by step process, key pieces of theory behind certain formula are much easier to understand once a base understating of the subject has been formed. this way i am also able to assess where the student lies with their own knowledge.
