About Sami
I am a recent graduate Engineering student (BEng) providing private Primary, GCSE or A-Level tutoring. I am currently a teaching assistant supporting groups of students in the field of mathematics across various schools. I have previously tutored students in Maths at KS1-3, GCSE, A-level and first year University Level. I am happy to tutor any students looking to prepare for upcoming exams or improve their results. Key Results: Degree: Bachelors in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (BEng) at University College London (UCL) Relevant GCSE and A-level: A's in Maths Additional AS-level: Further Mathematics and statistics. My approach to teaching involves introducing exam-style questions to boost the students' confidence during the exam as well as working efficiently on topics that the student needs improving on. This helps the students improve both their knowledge and exam technique so they go into their exams confident and able to boost them to their full ability. The session is tailor-made and depends on what the students' wishes to improve upon or practise to achieve their goal. For example: start with the current topics that the student is working on in school and work on problem sets or exam style questions based on that topic. By focusing on these topics I can assist the student identify weaknesses early on and show various methods to resolve them. I am passionate to help the student achieve their aim as well as finding ways to inspire the student for uses in maths in everyday life especially in the field of engineering. Tutoring lessons can be done online via Zoom (Khan Academy Style online teaching- see image) or in person depending on location.
