About Sarah
Hello! I am a Cedar Rapids native with a bachelor's and master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Go Hawks! I have experience with private math tutoring at the high school level and teaching assistant experience at the collegiate level (both undergraduate and graduate). To kick off tutoring sessions I typically discuss goals and desired outcomes with students and/or parents. Based on that input I will prepare for our next session accordingly, including but not limited to putting together learning resources, examples and practice material to work together. I adapt my teaching style based on what my students need to meet their goals and how they learn best.
I am passionate about helping skill set levels from elementary math through collegiate math.
