As a tutor, my approach to teaching mathematics is centered around clarity, connection, and confidence. I believe math becomes truly understandable when students can relate it to real-world scenarios, so I often incorporate practical examples and intuitive problem-solving techniques into my lessons. With over 5 years of mentoring experience, I’ve guided students of various levels—from middle school to early university—helping them build strong foundational skills and a genuine interest in the subject.
My typical lesson plan begins with a quick review of previously learned concepts, followed by a deep dive into the day’s topic using visuals, analogies, and step-by-step walkthroughs. I then guide students through progressively challenging problems, encouraging them to think critically and independently. Each session ends with a recap and a few take-home questions to reinforce learning.
