About Katrina

Hey! I’m Kat — a passionate, results-driven tutor with over seven years of experience helping students not just keep up, but excel. I graduated high school with a 91.6 ATAR and have since worked with students from Kindergarten to Year 12, across a range of subjects and skill levels. What sets me apart? I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning. Every student is different — so every lesson is tailored, engaging, and designed to make things click. Whether you're prepping for the HSC, struggling with essays, or just trying to stay motivated through Year 9, I’m here to help make it all make sense. I bring energy, structure, and strategy into every session, but I’m also approachable, relatable, and real. My goal is to build confidence and capability — not just short-term results, but skills that stick. If you’re ready to turn “I don’t get it” into “I’ve got this,” let’s get started.

I offer tailored English tutoring lessons for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including both Standard and Advanced English levels. My teaching style is flexible and student-focused—each lesson is aligned with the school curriculum and targets your individual problem areas. Whether you need help understanding texts, improving essay structure, refining creative writing, or building confidence in comprehension, I adapt my approach using a variety of teaching methods to suit how you learn best.

Lessons typically run for 1 to 2 hours, depending on your needs, and can include optional homework and consistent, actionable feedback. I believe in skill-building through repetition and clear explanation, with a focus on long-term improvement.

I’m a HSC graduate with an ATAR of 91.6, ranked 3rd in my cohort for English Advanced. I’ve been tutoring for 7 years and currently support a range of students through K-12 in both school and private settings.

Whether you're looking to catch up or push ahead, I’ll work with you to meet your goals.
