About Babak

I am a Mechanical Engineer (MSME) with a strong background in battery technology, energy storage, and applied engineering sciences. My expertise spans electrochemical systems, materials science, thermodynamics, and advanced manufacturing, with hands-on research experience in renewable energy solutions and next-generation battery technology. I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Central Washington University. Professionally, I have worked as an R&D Engineer and Researcher, contributing to innovative clean energy projects. With years of tutoring experience across high school, college, and university levels, I focus on making complex STEM topics accessible, engaging, and applicable to real-world scenarios. My goal is to not just help students pass their courses, but to empower them with problem-solving skills that will serve them throughout their education and career. If you're looking for a dedicated, experienced tutor who can break down difficult concepts and guide you toward mastery, I’d love the opportunity to help!

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor revolves around patience, simplification, and encouragement. Lesson plans will vary widely based on student needs. I can help with comprehension of course material, homework, or exam prep. Age or class level is not a consideration for me as long as my students are engaged and excited about their learning. I look forward to seeing if I am the right fit for you!
