About Teresa
I am about to graduate after 4 years studying a biomedical engineering degree (in English). I have been tutoring for 5 years. I have given classes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, Spanish, English and technical drawing. The age range so far has been between 9 and 17 years old, but I am also open to giving English classes to adults or younger children. I am bilingual, I have lived in the United States for three years, I have worked in Australia for 6 months and I have a TOEFL title, and the GRE English exam. I can do conversation classes, grammar, vocabulary, or give classes in any subject of primary/secondary school in English. .

In my typical English classes I try that the student does not speak Spanish at any time to force him to think in English for at least one hour (if the level is not high enough, everything that the student does not understand will be calmly explained, of course). English and Spanish are highly related in structures and I like to make the student see that it is easier than it seems. The structure of the class depends on the type of focus (speaking, grammar, vocabulary), but I will always make sure that the student is comfortable with the pace of the class.
