About Ayla
I am a singing tutor with over 10+ years of experience, specialising in teaching college students. My lessons focus on developing strong vocal technique, including breath control, pitch, vocal tone, and range, while encouraging creativity and emotional expression.
I use interactive methods like vocal improvisation, recording exercises, and song interpretation to make learning engaging and practical. Each lesson is customised to the student’s pace, goals, and personal style, ensuring steady progress.
Performance skills are a central part of my teaching. I guide students in stage presence, expressive delivery, and confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. I also incorporate music theory and ear training to strengthen their overall musical understanding.

My singing teaching methodology focuses on clarity, creativity, and consistency. Communication is the foundation of my teaching. I explain breathing techniques, posture, voice placement, and pitch control in easy language so students can apply them confidently.
Creativity is encouraged through expressive singing, creative vocal drills, and emotional connection with songs. Students explore different genres and develop confidence in their own voice.
Cultural sensitivity is an essential value in my classes. I respect every student’s musical background and encourage learning songs from different cultures and languages. This helps students feel accepted and motivated.
Accountability is ensured through structured lesson plans, regular practice schedules, and honest feedback. I monitor progress and encourage discipline and consistency. In addition to singing, I teach music reading, rhythm training, ear training, performance skills, and vocal health.
