About James
I have earned a diploma in higher education for musical skills, and have been teaching for 2 years. I have taught 11 students in total, and the best outcomes for those students have been that they have left with a feeling in being able to play the guitar/ ukulele confidently, having learned the skills to play a musical instrument well, as well as being more musically literate and more competent in communicating with other musicians.

My name is James Webber-Salmon, a performing guitarist and guitar and ukulele teacher focusing on finger style, celtic, funk, soul and jazz music. I also teach blues, rock, folk and pop styles. I am patient and engaging, focusing on solving individual differences and tailoring to your specific wants and needs. This includes planning lessons based on your previous experience, breaking down goals and working on the motivational process of achieving them, and ensuring that you have a firm foundation of musical knowledge and practical skill set, enabling you to better able explore whatever aspects of music you desire.
