About Emily
I am a Qualified Paediatric Nurse who will be starting medicine in September and received 4 interviews. As I have recently completed the UCAT and written a personal statement myself, I am aware of the current requirements and difficulties that many students face. I have experience teaching nursing students from a variety of different backgrounds and hope to help individuals with their upcoming UCAT or provide personal statement advice.

I strongly believe that every individual is different and each tutee may require different support. I will liaise with the individual to find exactly what they wish to achieve from the lesson and structure the lesson accordingly. I like making lessons interactive and enjoy using a variety of different means (such as real life examples and active recall) to help every tutee reach their goal.
As someone who has completed the UCAT and written personal statements myself, I'm aware that it can be a daunting time. I hope to use the skills I developed through my own learning, and through assisting previous tutees, to provide an informative and engaging session.
