About Astrid
I am an aspiring ESL teacher who has tutored fellow classmates, college students, and friends in English since I was in high school (although the college students didn't receive my aid until I myself was in college). I have tutored up to 2 students a semester in freshman English classes during my college career, and I am currently teaching reading and writing to a 4-year-old child as a nanny.

I learned that as a tutor, every student is different. That means that educational approaches must be adjusted to fit the students' needs. One of my favorite experiences as a tutor is getting to know a student and learning how they learn. Just because I am the tutor doesn't mean I can't learn a few things myself!
