About Lindsay
Hello! My name is Lindsay and I was born and raised in Canada. I came to the UK in the summer of 2015 to continue my teaching career as well as travel around Europe. I have taught for many years in both primary and secondary settings. I am currently a teacher at a secondary school teaching KS3 and GCSE level science and am fully up to date with the latest developments in education and qualifications. I am the most familiar with the AQA schemes of work - both KS3 and GCSE level.
Unfortunately, I do not have an access to a vehicle and therefore prefer to tutor those who live close to train lines or are on a major bus route. The alternative is to meet in a public location (local library, coffee shop, etc...) for lessons. Apologies for the inconvenience.

My goal as a tutor is to help pupils reach their potential and I enjoy seeing the progress one makes through the targeted process that one-on-one tutoring provides. I firmly believe that every individual is unique and therefore the teaching strategies that I aim to use are those that are suited towards the student's own needs. This is discussed when I first meet the student.
