About Mira
I have spent twenty distinguished years guiding more than 960 students through the challenging and rewarding landscape of advanced mathematics. My academic credentials include a doctoral degree in mathematical analysis and a long career as a university professor and research mathematician. I have taught at leading universities and have supervised doctoral students in areas of pure and applied mathematics. My teaching career has spanned multiple continents and educational systems, giving me a broad perspective on mathematics education at the highest levels. Many of my former students are now professors, researchers, and professionals in quantitative fields around the world. I am widely respected for my ability to make advanced mathematics accessible without sacrificing rigour and for my encyclopaedic knowledge of mathematical history and applications. I have authored research papers, textbooks, and examination guides. Outside of teaching, I continue my research in analysis, participate in international mathematics conferences, and mentor young mathematicians. I believe that mathematics is the highest expression of human reason and that every student capable of advanced study deserves access to the finest mathematical education available.

With two decades of mathematics teaching I have developed an approach that combines scholarly depth with exceptional pedagogical skill. I teach advanced calculus and mathematical analysis with attention to rigorous foundations including limits, continuity, convergence, and the logical structure of proofs. Real analysis is taught through careful construction of definitions, theorems, and proofs, developing students' ability to reason with precision and abstraction. I emphasise the connections between calculus and other branches of mathematics including linear algebra, topology, and differential equations. My lessons are intellectually demanding and highly interactive, with students actively constructing proofs, analysing examples, and exploring counterexamples. I use historical development to motivate abstract concepts, showing students how mathematical ideas evolved in response to genuine intellectual challenges. For examination preparation, I teach students to write proofs with clarity and rigour, solve complex problems with creativity, and manage the time pressures of advanced examinations. I also offer enrichment for students interested in mathematics competitions, research projects, and preparation for elite university programmes. My teaching is characterised by intellectual passion, patience, and an unwavering commitment to mathematical excellence.
