About Burdock
I am a recent graduate of the BFA program at Concordia University in Montreal, and I majored in painting and drawing; I am also a performance artist, musician, budding herbalist and gardener. I am hoping to study Art Therapy in the near future!

I see art as an opportunity to connect deeply with onself and with the world, and also to play around (playing is important for learning)! I consider all the art I make to be an experiment and a learning opportunity, and I would love to share that approach with you.
These lessons will be a space free of judgment, while I'll also guide you to think critically and expansively about your process, technique, and art projects. Depending on what kind of structure you're looking for, I can create a dynamic range of lesson plans: from a structured lesson with specific drawing and painting exercises or "experiments" to help you tune in with what creating means for you, to (supportive and safe) critiques on a current project you're working on, to technical exercises to hone your drawing and painting skills. Get in touch with me about your needs and dreams and we can come up with a plan!
These sessions could be for those who are just starting out in their artistic and creative journeys, those who are reconnecting with art after a "break", those experiencing creative blocks, or you can come to me with a project you're feeling stuck on, and I can help you approach it with a new, tuned-in perspective!
