About Freya
I am a French tutor with 13 years of experience teaching high school and college students, having successfully guided over 150 learners towards fluency and academic success. My teaching philosophy is rooted in personalised learning, designing lessons that match each student’s pace, goals, and learning style.
I incorporate interactive conversation exercises, role-playing, multimedia tools, and cultural insights to make lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable. My unique skill is helping students master challenging grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation concepts, building both fluency and confidence.

Integrity ensures that I maintain high teaching standards. I provide clear lesson objectives, structured practice, and honest performance evaluations. Students receive regular feedback and guidance on how to improve pronunciation, grammar accuracy, and fluency.
Adaptability helps me adjust lesson plans depending on age, proficiency level, and learning purpose. Beginners focus on pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and sentence construction. Intermediate learners strengthen their grammar and speaking skills. Advanced learners engage in debates, essay writing, and comprehension of authentic French texts.
I incorporate interactive techniques such as conversational drills, audio practice, reading exercises, writing assignments, and cultural discussions. This comprehensive approach strengthens listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills equally.
