I am a patient, reliable, and highly organized tutor who creates thoughtfully planned lessons tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring steady progress and measurable results. I maintain clear communication with students and parents, providing consistent feedback and strategies for improvement. Outside of tutoring, my experience performing in musicals and dance allows me to bring creativity, flexibility, and engaging techniques into my lessons to support different learning styles. My tutoring approach focuses on making math engaging, relatable, and tailored to each student’s needs. I use hands-on manipulatives, movement, and interactive activities like songs and real-life examples to help students truly understand concepts, not just memorize them.
A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up, a focused mini-lesson, guided practice, and a short quiz or exit ticket to check for understanding. I also provide homework help and targeted test prep to reinforce learning.
