My lessons are structured and personalized based on the student’s current level and goals.
A typical session includes:
1) Guided lectures on new materials and problem-solving
2) Strategy and error analysis
3) A focused plan for what to practice and homework before the next lesson
I help with both school math and competition prep, and I can adjust pacing whether a student needs confidence-building, score improvement, or advanced challenge work.
If you message me, please include:
- student grade
- current math level / recent scores
- goals (school performance, AMC/AIME, etc.)
- weekly availability
Then I can recommend the best lesson cadence and next steps.

Best AMC tutor I have worked with. And I have worked with a lot of them. Went from low scoring on the amc 10 my sophomore year to qualifying for usamo!!!
My son has worked with Bj for the last 2 years. We are very thankful for his overwhelming improvement in his AMC and AIME scores. He has qualified for USAMO and we have Bj to thank for it. Would recommend.
