I am an experienced elementary classroom teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching reading, writing, math, and science. I am passionate about helping students grow as learners while building the confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. My goal as a tutor is to help students reach their learning goals by strengthening foundational skills, developing mastery, and creating a positive learning experience that encourages curiosity and persistence.
My Teaching Approach
As a tutor, I focus on meeting each student where they are and tailoring instruction to their individual learning style and needs. I use a combination of guided practice, modeling, questioning, and hands-on activities to help students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorize them. I believe that when students feel supported and capable, their confidence grows along with their skills.
