About Katie
Over the last 21 years, I've taught hundreds of students, from all walks of life. I am a mom to two teenage boys which has helped me to understand how children move and learn. I create structured, encouraging sessions that help students stay engaged. I specialize in helping students who need extra support with focus, confidence, reading and math. Your child will feel success, even with subjects that are difficult for them.

As an experienced elementary teacher of 21 years, I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, and mathematical skill building for grades 2-5 . My sessions focus on your child's needs while adding in appropriate movement, song, or breaks as needed. My goal is to meet your child where they are, strengthen their skills, fill the gaps and build their confidence as they advance in grade for the 26/27 school year. Flexible summer scheduling available in the Rochester Hills/Troy area. Small group or one-on-one sessions.
