I am a First Grade teacher who is dedicated and passionate about helping students grow academically while building confidence as learners. With five years of experience as an Elementary School teacher and my Master's degree in Reading Education, I create engaging, individualized, and student-centered lessons tailored to each learner's specific needs. My teaching approach emphasizes building student confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and using research-based strategies. A typical lesson will often include assessing prior knowledge, explicit instruction and modeling, guided practice, and independent application. During my lessons, I always provide ongoing feedback.
