About Val
I got my education degree from a liberal arts university in which I was taught to teach the individual student—we all learn differently and come from different backgrounds, so it is important for educators to be flexible and adaptive. I have over 5 years of tutoring—both in and out of the classroom and have a true passion for it.

I am a very visual, hands on learner, so I strongly believe in the importance of adapting lessons to meet each learner where they are. Math can be challenging for many, that is why we need great educators. I am patient, creative, and hard working. I love to help young minds grasp concepts that they need for life— both in and out of the classroom.
