About Jimmy
I trained as a Mathematics & Physics teacher in Uganda, and taught for 18 years before coming to Canada. I have pursued a course in Electronics Engineering, but I still have a passion for teaching. Having experienced failure in Mathematics as a teenager, and overcame that failure, I can inspire those who are struggling to learn Mathematics and Physics. I use every day examples to make the concepts easy to understand and applicable to daily life. I strongly believe that with hard work and persistence, any student can learn to enjoy Mathematics and Physics and pass their exams. I have helped my own daughters, who went to schools where Mathematics and Physics are reserved for the most gifted students, to succeed in these subjects.

My methodology is simple: first, I get to know your career goals. Second, we figure out how to achieve those goals by drawing broad strategies. Third, we agree on the contribution Mathematics and/or Physics will make towards your career goals. And then we start from there our journey. Every concept in a topic is linked to your ultimate career goal. The doing of exercises and homework to reinforce new learning is taken seriously.
