About Kelsey
I am an experienced Engineering tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them build a strong understanding of engineering concepts and achieve their academic goals.
My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, understanding, and practical application. I focus on making complex topics like circuit design, power systems, control systems, thermodynamics, and applied mechanics simple and relatable. I believe that learning engineering is best achieved through problem-solving, hands-on examples, and connecting theory to real-world applications.
I adapt my lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring a flexible and supportive learning environment. I emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills, helping students tackle challenging problems with confidence. I also focus on exam preparation, assignments, and project work, guiding students to succeed academically and professionally.
Empathy and motivation are key aspects of my teaching. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges, providing encouragement and strategies to help them excel. I also ensure that all students feel respected and included, valuing diverse perspectives and learning styles.

My teaching approach focuses on making engineering concepts clear, practical, and applicable for students at all levels.
