About Nompumelelo
I am a qualified Electrical and Electronics Engineer that graduated 3 years ago from the University of Johannesburg (record time). During my high school years, I used to be part of a debate team and won three times in a row for three conservative years as the best speaker. I then represented my school regionally in debate with other best candidates chosen by the district and won. Not only was I a formidable debater but I became the President of the school in 2014. Addressing the school and attending meetings was my daily bread where communication in English both verbally and written was paramount.
I was also part of a tutoring club in university. Assisting especially first years on any subject of need. It was an exciting journey. To see a student being better at what they initially had a problem doing was the biggest highlight.
Now as an engineer I do a lot of report writing and presentations. This made me understand the importance of English as a medium of communication which is why I want to use my free time to assist individuals to be the best they can be either in the industry they're working in or the schools they are attending.
Knowing English and excelling in it does not only get the message across but it sets you apart.
