About Talia
I am a dedicated violin instructor with four years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Strings specializing in violin.
My training is rooted in strong classical tradition while also encouraging modern musical expression.
I focus on building a solid technical foundation through careful work on bow technique, vibrato, and accurate intonation.
Students also learn expressive phrasing and stylistic interpretation so they can perform music with confidence and character.
My lessons are structured yet supportive, allowing each student to grow at a comfortable and steady pace.
I guide beginners through the fundamentals while helping intermediate and advanced players refine their musical voice.
I also provide exam coaching for students preparing for graded music assessments and performance evaluations.
Alongside solo playing, I introduce orchestral training so students develop ensemble awareness, listening skills, and musical discipline.
My goal is to help students understand the language of music, not just the mechanics of playing.
I believe strong technique and musical creativity should develop together.
Through consistent guidance and encouragement, students build both confidence and lasting passion for the violin.

My violin teaching approach is built on clear goals structured practice and steady progress.
Each student begins with a simple plan that defines musical goals technique targets and performance milestones.
Lessons start with focused daily warm ups that strengthen tone posture bow control and intonation.
We then work on technical etudes that build agility rhythm accuracy and confident shifting across the fingerboard.
I guide students to shape expressive phrasing so every note communicates feeling and musical intention.
Short exercises are combined with creative musical challenges to keep learning engaging and motivating.
Students also develop stage presence through mock performances listening exercises and ensemble awareness.
I prepare learners carefully for recitals auditions and group playing situations.
We practice performing with confidence clarity and musical expression.
Some students prefer clear structured plans while others thrive through creativity encouragement and expressive freedom.
My role is to support both approaches while helping each student discover their own musical voice.
Over time students build discipline artistry and a lasting passion for the violin.
