About Katie
I have worked one-on-one with students of all ages, grade levels, and learning abilities to teach reading and comprehension for the past three years. I have also worked as a Teaching Artist in multiple Denver and New York elementary schools, teaching group lessons about poetry, mythology, and theatre. I hold a BA in English and Theatre with distinction in Dramaturgy from the University of Denver.
I would love to help students feel more confident about their reading and writing. I aim to make learning more fun and interesting for each person. We will build a strong foundation of skills so that students can read and write about the topics that interest them.
