About Izel
Hello! My name is Izel, and I am an Education student at North-West University. Teaching is not just a career path for me — it is a passion. I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when guided with patience, encouragement, and the right learning tools. I have experience tutoring Afrikaans for learners of different ages and ability levels. My teaching style is friendly, structured, and supportive. I take care to explain concepts clearly and at the learner’s pace, helping them build confidence step by step. I enjoy creating lessons that are interesting, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require foundational support, exam preparation, or help with specific language skills. I am proficient in both Afrikaans and English, and can teach in either language. My goal is to help students feel comfortable and motivated, while also challenging them to grow and achieve their personal academic goals. I am proficient in Afrikaans and English, and can teach in either language depending on the learner’s preference.
