About Fiona
I am an Economics tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, supporting students from school to college level. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 200 students in understanding and mastering Economics with confidence. My teaching focuses on building strong conceptual clarity and practical understanding of economic ideas. I help students connect theories with real-world situations so they can see how Economics works in daily life and global systems.
My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, consistency, and student-centered learning. I believe every student can understand Economics when it is explained in a clear and structured way. I focus on breaking complex topics into easy steps and using real-life examples, graphs, and case studies. My goal is not just to help students score well in exams, but also to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills.
I teach key areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, public finance, development economics, and econometrics basics. I also support students with exam preparation, assignments, and concept revision. I encourage active participation, questions, and discussion during sessions to make learning more interactive and effective.
One of my notable achievements is successfully mentoring students who improved significantly in their academic performance and gained strong confidence in Economics. Many of my students have achieved excellent results in board exams and university assessments under my guidance.
I am dedicated to providing consistent support, motivation, and clear communication in every session. My aim is to make Economics simple, interesting, and useful for every learner, helping them build a strong foundation for their academic and career goals.

My teaching approach in Economics is structured, practical, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I teach students from school and university levels and help them connect economic theories with real world situations. My methodology is based on motivation, clear communication, integrity, and creativity to make learning meaningful and effective. I begin with core areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, international economics, public economics, and development economics. I also include important related topics like demand and supply analysis, market structures, national income, inflation, unemployment, fiscal policy, and monetary policy. Each concept is explained step by step using simple language and real life examples. I focus on how economic models are formed and how they are applied in real situations. Graphs, data interpretation, and case studies are used to improve understanding and analytical skills. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate in discussions. My communication style ensures that even complex topics become easy to understand. I maintain integrity by providing accurate content and honest academic guidance. Creativity is used in teaching through practical scenarios, current economic events, and problem solving exercises. I also provide support in exam preparation, assignments, and research based tasks. Regular feedback is given to help students improve continuously. My goal is to help learners think like economists and develop strong analytical and decision making skills.
