About Asha
I have 8 years of experience teaching Economics to students preparing for exams, university study, and broader understanding of global markets. I earned an M.A in Economic Development Studies, which provided strong grounding in policy analysis, international systems, and economic theory. This academic background helps me teach economics with both clarity and practical relevance.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and focused on helping learners build strong reasoning skills. I enjoy guiding students through graphs, essays, and evaluation questions step by step. I create a calm learning environment where students feel encouraged to express ideas confidently.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with economics through reading current economic research, following global policy debates, and exploring development case studies. Teaching economics is fulfilling because students often gain a new perspective on the world. Supporting that growth motivates my work deeply.

Economics becomes far more meaningful when students understand it as the study of human decisions, resources, and real-world systems. In my lessons, I guide learners through supply and demand, market structures, inflation, government policy, and international trade using clear explanation and practical examples. I focus on helping students connect theory to everyday economic events, so learning feels relevant and understandable. Each session builds confidence through structured reasoning.
Lessons are adapted to student needs. Beginners learn the foundations of economic vocabulary, basic graphs, and simple market behaviour. Intermediate learners strengthen understanding of elasticity, fiscal and monetary policy, and exam-style written evaluation. Advanced students explore macroeconomic models, development economics, case studies, and deeper analytical essay writing. Practice tasks and feedback are included in every lesson.
Economics lessons help students develop sharper critical thinking and confidence in understanding global systems. Over time, learners become comfortable analysing real economic issues calmly. My goal is to help students succeed academically while gaining insight into how economies shape society.
