About Emily
I have 6 months experience in tutoring Maths and History at a secondary school level. I am an enthusiastic, patient, and supportive tutor with a strong understanding of key maths and economics concepts. I can help students of different levels improve their skills and develop confidence in their abilities while preparing for exams. I can provide clear explanations and tailored practice whilst maintaining a nice learning environment.

A typical lesson might involve a quick review of previous work, followed by the student telling me what they would like to work on for that session. Then I would clearly explain the concept and guide them through some examples, while checking their understanding. To end, I will summarise the topic and can set optional homework for the student. Lessons will largely take place online.
I can cover the full GCSE syllabus in Maths and Economics, as well as the whole A-Level Economics syllabus. I can also help with structuring historical essays. I have studied the Industrial Revolution and French Revolution in detail, and also have knowledge on WW2, Nazi Germany, and 1900s China.
