About Emmah
My name is Ms. Emmah. I am a well-experienced educator who genuinely values learning not just as a way to gain knowledge, but as a tool to open doors, build confidence, and create opportunities. Over time, I have dedicated myself to developing both a strong understanding of my subject and the ability to explain it clearly and practically. Teaching for me, is not just about delivering information, it is about making sure you truly understand and feel confident using what you learn.
The reason I chose to teach is simple: I want to make learning more accessible, flexible, and effective for students like you. I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, KHDA approval, and over six years of experience teaching young children up to the age of 8. My teaching approach is centered on creating a supportive, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment where students feel confident to explore and participate.
In my online tutoring sessions, I use interactive and play-based learning techniques to keep young learners motivated and focused. I incorporate visual aids, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities to make lessons enjoyable while reinforcing key concepts. I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved, so I encourage participation, questioning, and creativity throughout each lesson.
My teaching methodology is differentiated to suit each child’s individual learning style and pace. I focus on building strong foundational skills in a structured yet flexible way, ensuring that every child understands the material before moving forward. Positive reinforcement and continuous feedback are key parts of my approach, helping to build confidence and a love for learning.
A typical lesson lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s age and attention span. Each session is carefully planned to include a warm-up, focused learning activities, and a short review to consolidate understanding.
Overall, my goal is to make learning a positive and rewarding experience, helping young children develop both academically and personally in a nurturing and engaging environment.
