About Kinleigh
Hi I'm Kinleigh a 19 year old university student! I'm going to school to receive my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education.
I would like to build my teaching skills, and gain one-on-one experience with educating students.
When I'm not focusing on my studies, you can find me reading a book on my swinging porch bench, with a nice cup of tea. I also love taking long walks with my two golden retriever puppies.

Tutoring is my passion!
In the past I've taught newcomers who only knew their names, by the end of 4 months they could hold a conversation and read and write at a beginner level.
My most recent tutoring endeavour was volunteering at my local elementary school, I mentored a fourth grade student and helped him develop literacy skills and advance his dialogue.
Specifically my lessons are curated for elementary school students, which includes grades 1-6 or ages 5-12.
Upon running some trial lessons, so that I can further understand the student's struggles and goals, I will curate a precise planner for the student. Possible lessons could be:
- Interactive story creation to aid in sentence structure
- Video analysis to help with oral comprehension
- Vocabulary enrichment
I hope to build a meaningful connection with the student and have fun while learning as well!
